Mediapro presents the series 'The Young Pope' in Madrid
The premiere of HBO's first strong commitment in Spain was attended by the leading actor, Jude Law, and the director of the project, the Oscar-winning Italian, Paolo Sorrentino.

The ambitious international series produced by Mediapro and which HBO will soon premiere in Spain, was presented in Madrid in a premiere that was attended by the leading actor, Jude Law; the director of the project, the Italian Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino, and Javier Cámara, another of the actors; together with the Content Director of the MEDIAPRO GROUP, Javier Méndez.
The premiere in Spain of Sorrentino's long-awaited series has brought together numerous faces from the world of culture, such as Natalia de Molina, Alberto Ammann, Macarena García, María Pujalte, Fernando Guillén Cuervo, Álvaro Cervantes, Pepón Nieto, Kira Miró, Bárbara Santa-Cruz, Álex Gadea, Julián López, Marina San José, Tina Sainz, Pepe Ocio, Peter Vives, Secun de la Rosa and Félix Sabroso, among others.
La serie narra la controvertida historia del primer Papa norteamericano elegido por el Colegio de Cardenales. Perspicaz e ingenuo, primitivo e innovador, melancólico y sin escrúpulos, Pío XIII trata de seguir el largo camino de la soledad humana para encontrar un Dios para la humanidad y para sí mismo.
