Television image starts its broadcasts in Mexico with VSN continuity systems

The VSNMulticom system has been integrated with the VSNexplorer continuity vsnexplorer solution for file management, as well as Harmonic Spectrum servers, Mixer Imagine's Mixer Master and the ORAD graphics system.

Image Television, the new open television network that has come to break with more than two decades without creating new operators in this sector in Mexico, has begun to automate the control of its broadcasts thanks to the implementation of the VSNMulticom solution reduced from VSN. The channel began its broadcast on October 17 and is already broadcasting in 60 cities in the country through 123 stations, covering a total audience of more than 70 million people.

The group of media group Grupo Imagen, belonging to the Angeles Business Group, has deposited its confidence in the VSN technology to automate and manage the complete flow of the broadcasts of its new television channel Imagen Televisión, which was officially released on October 17.

The project in question required the implementation of an automation flow of complete and perfectly integrated continuity with all the third -party teams available to the channel to offer a reliable emission system from its television from its air output. With this objective, VSN launched together with Teletec, its confidence dealer in the region, two VSNMulticom systems that are responsible for guaranteeing an uninterrupted broadcast 24 hours a day, thanks to the installation of a complete automation solution of continuity with parallel redundancy configuration.

With the aim of establishing an automatic end -to -end control flow, VSN developed, thanks to the vsnspider framework, a complete integration of both vsnmulticom systems with the vsnexplorer continuity vsnexplorer solution for file management, as well as with the video servers Spectrum of Harmonic, el mixer Icon Master de Imagine and the ORAD graphics system (Avid).

The final result of this project allows Imagen Televisión to have a completely automatic continuity flow from the export of the files and video clips until they send the emission servers, allowing the system to be called to the video servers when a clip or content scheduled in the escalation is not ready to be emitted.

The new channel, which ends 23 years without concession and creation of new issuance licenses in Mexico, has erected as the third national chain and at the moment, covers a coverage of more than 70 million people through 123 stations distributed throughout the country.
