4K Summit 2016: Seville brings together the best of UHD-HDR this week

Between companies, speakers and attendees, almost twenty countries will be represented on November 10 and 11 in the Seville capital with Ultra High Definition as the center of the debate.

Delegados de EBU-Eurovisión, Sky, TV Globo, Travel XP, Stingray y representantes de compañías como Dolby, SES Astra, Eutelsat, Grass Valley, Sony, Nokia, Samsung, Fujifilm, Ericsson, Panasonic, Rohde &Schwarz, Ateme o Akamai, estarán presentes en la 4K Summit 2016 que se celebra los días 10 y 11 de noviembre en Sevilla.

On the Spanish side, Movistar, RTVE, Hispasat, Cellnex, Canal Sur, Sgo, Huri 4K and Ovide, will share their experiences in this international forum that is celebrating its second edition. Between companies, speakers and attendees, almost twenty countries will be represented in the capital of Seville (USA, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, India, Japan, Korea, Belgium, Luxembourg, Croatia, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Spain, France and Spain).

This year's 4K Summit will feature Croatel and its newly released UHD OB 5 mobile unit for sports broadcasts. In addition, Hispasat and Hurí 4K, in collaboration with Ovide, Ontario Soluciones and Medina Media 4K, will carry out the live 4K satellite transmission of the 4K Summit 2016 sessions.

Más allá de conferencias, mesas redondas para debatir sobre los “hot topics” de la industria de la Ultra Alta Definición, durante dos días tendrán lugar demos y talleres/workshops 4K con lo último en equipamiento. Dolby, Sony, Sgo y Canon han apostado por mostrar su equipamiento UHD HDR, haciendo demostraciones de sus innovadoras herramientas y comparativas reales de los diferentes estándares. Por su parte, Panasonic mostrará soluciones 4K & 360º, y Fujifilm impartirá masterclasses de Zoom y Prime para trabajar en 4K.

La RTVA también se ha lanzado al 4K y junto con Axión llevarán a cabo una transmisión de contenidos 4K en DVB-T2 a través de una aplicación HbbTV, en colaboración con la ETSI de Sevilla. Por su parte, Rohde & Schwarz y Cellnex emitirán, por vez primera, durante la 4K Summit’16 tres señales 4K en un solo multiplex DVB-T2.
