Atresmedia creates the Atreseries Short Film Award

The award will be announced within the next edition of the Hispasat 4K International Festival.

Atresmedia creates the Atreseries Short Film Award within the Hispasat 4K International Festival, one of the first competitions in the world dedicated entirely to short films recorded and post-produced in 4K. The objective of the festival is to encourage audiovisual creation with cutting-edge technology and give the public the opportunity to enjoy the cinematographic experience in its highest definition.

The Atreseries Award will be announced at the 2017 edition of the Hispasat 4K International Festival. The winning short will be broadcast and promoted by Atreseries, the HD fiction channel of Atresmedia, leader of new generation channels

This award represents another step in Atreseries' commitment to fiction production, which since the beginning of its broadcasts has had its own production content that accompanies viewers' favorite series with a wide variety of extra content.

Atreseries stands out in its own production offering, where it has made a significant effort in the creation of new content and during its first year of life it has broadcast more than 400 hours of original formats associated with the fictions broadcast on the channel.
