TVE will present a version of its Clan channel for America at NATPE 2017

'Queens' and 'El final del Camino' are RTVE's main fiction bets for the new edition of NATPE, where it will also present the launch for America of the Clan channel.

From January 17 to 19, Televisión Española will be present in Miami at the Spanish pavilion 'Audiovisual from Spain', where it will present its latest fiction productions and a renewed offer of international channels.

Among others, it will present the series Queens which shows the history of the rivalry between two great European monarchs: Mary Stuart of Scotland and Elizabeth I of England. Two women historically confronted by their political and religious convictions, under the watchful eye of the most fearsome monarch in Europe, Philip II, heir to the largest empire ever created. The series has been filmed in English and on natural locations in Spain and Scotland.

On the other hand, it is also worth highlighting The End of the Road, which has just premiered on La 1, narrates the experiences of three brothers, three heroes who coexisted with the excessive ambition of many historical figures, their love affairs, betrayals and passions while the construction of the Cathedral of Santiago began.

In addition to these two new features, RTVE presents its series at NATPE six sisters y Acacias 38.

RTVE will also carry other new features such as OT the Reunion and the tv movies The Paca Princess y 22 angels, as well as the rest of its catalog, which includes series such as Isabel, Charles King Emperor, Elms and Oaks o Victor Ros, and tvmovies like The English Spanish, Closed Rooms or Teresa.

New Clan for America

As for the international channels, the big news is that a new channel joins the extensive offering (TVE Internacional, 24 Horas and Star HD): Clan. Destined only for America and very similar to the 'Clan' channel that is broadcast in Spain, it meets a growing demand from cable operators who want to increase the offer for children. It is a thematic channel in which the best production in Spanish will be offered in High Definition and will be available to all cable operators in America.

The RTVE commercial team will be headed by Rodolfo Domínguez, commercial director; Rafael Bardem, deputy director of program sales and María Jesús Pérez, deputy director of international sales.
