ABonAir AB405TM

With its new AB405 system, ABonAir now offers a low-cost solution for wireless transmission. With this new link, ABonAir makes the latest microwave wireless transmission technology available to production companies and broadcasters, offering professional quality and great robustness at an affordable budget for distances of up to 750 meters. Visitors to Broadcast Asia 2017 (May 23-25 in Singapore) will have the opportunity to check out the new AB405 link at booth (4G3-05) of Broadcast Solutions.

This equipment allows camera crews to wirelessly transmit video directly from the cameras to a production center or mobile unit. It is designed for ENG equipment and for video assistance where link stability cannot be compromised and image quality must be high.

It has a bidirectional radio channel between the transmitter and receiver, and incorporates correct acceptance technology for each group of pixels, thus achieving exceptionally robust and reliable transmission.

The AB405 enables video transmission up to 750 meters using MIMO radio technology and two antennas on the transmitter and receiver to improve performance and ensure coverage even in environments with oversaturated spectrum.
