The Navarra Euskalerria Irratia incorporates an AEQ Forum IP console in its studios

The station has been using one of AEQ's reference consoles, the BC 2000, for more than twenty years. Now, it renews this equipment by incorporating the AEQ Forum IP digital console.

Euskalerria Irratia, the station based in Pamplona that has been broadcasting its programming entirely in Basque since 1998, has been using one of AEQ's reference consoles, the BC 2000, for more than twenty years. Now, it has decided to renew this equipment and bet on the future with the AEQ Forum IP console.

Juan Cruz, one of the people in charge of the station, made the decision after learning that AEQ can no longer regularly supply spare parts for this type of consoles. AEQ has guaranteed the supply of spare parts for more than twenty years, but it is no longer possible to find components for the older models of analog consoles: BC-300 BC-500, BC-2500 and BC 2000.

Another reason for the change is that AEQ Forum IP is a digital mixing console designed to cover all On Air emissions control needs. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment such as automatic monitor cut-off, cough cut-off, fader start, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication...

With a modular design and small size, the console adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, studio control, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations or integration in large installations.

Simplicity and control power are combined in AEQ Forum to cover both the most basic and advanced operating needs, starting with a minimum control surface of 4 faders and can be easily expanded up to 8 and 12 independent channels with the standard chassis and up to 20 channels with the Grand Forum chassis.
