At the fair, Tedial will demonstrate new Dashboard tools, the power of its AST augmented storage system, and the operating possibilities offered by the cloud.

Tedial Dashboard

Tedial will unveil its Evolution Live Event Archive proposal at IBC through a presentation by Dan McDonnell, CEO of Timeline Television. McDonnell will share his expertise on the unique capabilities Tedial software offers to enhance and expand a world-class sports archive. The presentation will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10 in the morning at the Tedial stand 8.B41.

Timeline Television, a leading provider of broadcast, production and post-production services in the United Kingdom that works with the country's leading media companies, has recently implemented a Tedial Evolution archiving solution closely integrated with the products EVS. McDonnell will demonstrate how Tedial's full integration with the Sports software system has expanded product features for both MAM and production tools in a deep two-way setup.

Tedial Evolution has emerged as an international reference in MAM workflow systems for preparation, management, packaging and distribution, including versioning, OTT, VOD and online distribution. Tedial Evolution's MAM tools include Evolution Version Factory that facilitates the laborious work of preparing different versions of a production for different devices or networks.

Focusing on efficiency, Tedial will demonstrate an end-to-end master format interoperable workflow that applies SMPTE IMF standards to provide a cloud SaaS solution for real-world distribution applications. Connected to Evolution Version Factory, it is possible to have a fully automated media distribution flow in a single output with the consequent cost savings in an IMF environment for OTT, VOD and specialized media distribution management. Tedial's architecture supports UHD and HDR and provides improved multi-version support with corresponding watermarks.

On the other hand, complete monitoring in new distribution environments is key. Tedial now has Evolution Dashboard aimed at improving business efficiency and profitability. These tools allow real-time monitoring of key performance indicators with reporting to measure business efficiency and capacity, allowing users to track processes and help clients achieve their goals.

Augmented Storage (AST)

Tedial continues to expand its product line with the next level of hierarchical storage management with Augmented Storage (AST), the most secure method of controlling storage levels across departments or continents. AST offers content owners a secure, reliable and cost-effective storage system for cloud workflows and hybrid scenarios by virtualizing file locations. For those customers managing a multi-site distributed operation, AST can transparently manage the same content across multiple locations, automating task assignment and data transfers as needed. Its flexible and scalable “Cloud First” design allows facilities to fence according to their needs, dynamically adapting to workload peaks and providing the highest level of security while protecting content and limiting access to only authorized users.

Complete cloud operation

Tedial has been providing native support for cloud and hybrid cloud operations for over six years with multiple installations around the world. As a result of continuous improvements to its solutions, Tedial's entire cloud operation now features multi-resolution MPEG-DASH to enable full Web GUI for seamless media navigation, with full integration with Adobe Premier Pro CC, Adobe After Effects and Avid Media Central. Thus, content is processed and moved independently of the storage environment, allowing minimal transfers in local high-resolution operations, such as content reuse, corrections… making content transparently available to end users, regardless of location.
