ChannelMaker-in-the-Cloud allows you to manage your playback structure from anywhere and instantly reach a global audience.

The ChannelMaker playout automation solution from wTVision It is now also available in the cloud. As demonstrated at IBC 2017, ChannelMaker-in-the-Cloud allows you to manage your playback structure from anywhere and instantly reach a global audience.

wTVision showcases local asset management and encoding with Kyrion CM5000 from Atem transmitting the content live as input to ChannelMaker-in-the-Cloud. Fully web-hosted, it sequences and plays clips previously uploaded to the cloud, mixing them with next-generation 3D graphics overlays and encoding everything to an output channel sending it to the channel distribution center and decoding it with Kyrion DR5000, where it follows a traditional distribution path. This Ateme solution supports sources of two IP addresses (apart from 4xRF and 2xASI inputs), thus allowing the system to automatically exchange in case of any data transmission failure.

V5 Generation

wTVision is also introducing the V5 generation of its flagship products: FootballStats CG V5, ChannelMaker V5 and Studio CG V5.

The new software environment has been designed to overcome some limitations of the past. It comes with a fresh new interface, much more intuitive and easy to use. Like the rest of wTVision's products and services, the V5 generation is very flexible and allows seamless integration with the rest of its products and a wide range of third parties.

FootballStats CG V5 is a statistical data collection system and on-air graphics controller, part of the SportStats CG products; Studio CG V5 is a powerful PCR solution for managing and controlling live graphics and video in newscasts and studio programs; and ChannelMaker V5 is one of the most flexible playout automation solutions on the market. Finally, ChannelMaker-in-the-Cloud is based on the latest version of wTVision's broadcast automation solution and will open up a new range of possibilities for broadcasters around the world.
