Japan's public chain NHK and other great Japanese multinationals such as Sony, Canon, Fujifilm and Panasonic have confirmed their participation in the third edition of the 4K Summit 2017, which will take place from November 8 to 10 in the Digital Content Pole of Malaga.

The Japanese NHK, with the collaboration of Extenda (Andalusian Agency of Exterior Promocón), will send from Tokyo to Hidenobu Miyazaki, producer of the Global Contents Development Division of the Public Television Corporation of Japan.

Hidenobu MIYAZAKIMiyazaki will be in charge of presenting attendees at the 4K Summit of Malaga the latest productions in 8K Ultra High Vision that the NHK has exhibited at the MIPCOM, held from October 16 to 19 in Cannes.

The NHK is developing the implementation of 4K and 8K in Japan with an eye on the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.

The 4K Summit brings together every year since 2015 to the “Top Engineers” and to the leaders in Ultra High Definition to share experiences with the speakers, brands and assistants of more than 20 countries that meet in this event organized by the Spanish producer Medina Media which has audiovisual panorama as Main Media.

The presence of Japan in the 4Ksummit, in addition to the NHK, will be composed of large multinationals such as Sony, Canon, Fujifilm and Panasonic.

Peter Sykes, Sony Technological Development Strategy Manager, will offer a conference to explain all the news of the Japanese multinational in the complete production chain "End to End".

The German engineer Stephan Hofmann will be the representative of Panasonic at the round table on 4K-HD cameras and lensesA, in which Canon, Fujifilm and Grass Valley will also participate, headed by the German engineer Klaus Weber.

Sony and Fujifilm will lead the latest news and lenses, which were recently presented at the Amsterdam IBC.

Students from film schools, university students from the faculties of communication, producers, filmmakers and independent professionals can visit these workshops for free during the three days of the 4Ksummit17, prior registration, here.
