Los Premios Iris de la Academia de las Ciencias y las Artes de Televisión se retransmitirán en directo en Twitter por primera vez en su historia. Twitter ha sido la plataforma elegida para llegar a una audiencia mayor, de cualquier parte del mundo y en tiempo real. Así, de una forma innovadora, directa y totalmente nueva para la institución, la cita con el reconocimiento a la televisión y sus profesionales en España, que tendrá lugar este martes en Kinépolis Ciudad de la Imagen, se podrá seguir en directo a partir de las 20:30 horas desde la cuenta oficial de la Academia.

La noche del reconocimiento a la televisión en España convocará a más de 800 profesionales de la pequeña pantalla que conocerán en directo a los ganadores de las 12 categorías de los Premios Iris que votan en secreto y ante notario los miembros de la Institución. Además, recogerán premio los ganadores de los Premios Iris del Jurado: Born in Syria de Hernán Zin (Movistar +, Canal Sur), Spain in a day (La 2 de TVE), Cobertura del World Pride Madrid (Telemadrid), Javier Salmones, Astral (LaSexta) y Masterchef Celebrity (La 1 de TVE).
Bambú Producciones will receive the Iris Critics Award for “for its successful career in national fiction, knowing how to open itself to new formats, such as What the Truth Hides: the Asunta Case, both free-to-air and on paid platforms, its incorporation into the international market and its determined commitment to female television talent in Spain.”
The Iris Autonomous Awards voted by the Academy Council will also be presented to Ramón García for In Company (CCM) the Land Rover Cash Galician Television Show.
Xavier Sardá will become one of the great protagonists of the night when he collects the Iris Todo una Vida Award for his professional career.
The ceremony will be directed by Valentín Carrera, the script by Enric Company, the production by Rafael Galán, the executive production by Paco Amescua, the lighting by Jacinto García, the voiceover by Carlos Castel and the collaboration of Alaska Televisión.
