Leader will debut the ZEN series at IBC with the launch of the LV5600 and LV7600

Two new test and measurement solutions will be released at IBC: the LV5600 true hybrid SDI and IP waveform monitor and its LV7600 rasterization equivalent. Both are part of Leader's new ZEN series.

Leader LV5600

Leader Electronics will premiere in IBC 2018 two new solutions for test and measurement: the LV5600 true hybrid SDI and IP waveform monitor and its equivalent of LV7600 rasterization. Both are part of the new ZEN series the Leader.

The Leader LV5600 is a network-powered SDI/IP waveform monitor in a compact 3U rack-width desktop chassis with front panel touchscreen. It provides all the facilities needed to monitor UHD/HD/SD SDI signals as well as IP video signals seamlessly in a hybrid operating environment.

The LV5600 provides a rich set of engineering-related features, including test pattern generation, eye pattern display, subtitle monitoring, CIE color graph, high dynamic range measurement, focus assist, customizable screen layout, counting interface, 4K/UHD operation, 10G IP input and 12G-SDI interfaces. SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE 2022-7, and the recently released SMPTE 2110 protocols are supported. The LV5600 also features Leader's intuitive Cinezone and Cinelite, which are familiar to all content production professionals.

IP-specific features include the ability to monitor transmission errors such as packet loss and packet jitter, and to simultaneously measure and display SDI and IP signal sources.

Rasterizador LV7600

The LV7600 rasterizer offers exactly the same capabilities as the LV5600 but housed in 1U 19-inch for easy rack or desktop mounting.

La mayoría hará la transición a IP a través de una infraestructura híbrida SDI/IP provisional, por lo que querrá manejar SDI e IP en un único producto de prueba y medición”.
