In this gameshow, developed by Mediapro and Phileas Productions, two teams compete for an outstanding cash prize.

Crush

The contest Crush has just been added to the catalog of NBC Universal as one of the foreign formats that the American company will market internationally. Developed by Mediapro y Phileas Productions, this program is a show for the whole family in which two teams, made up of four contestants and one celebrity, compete for a succulent cash prize. To do this, they must choose the correct answers to avoid ending up buried under their giant safes.

One of the differentiating notes of this gameshow, which has already been broadcast in Spain on RTVE last summer, is the possibility of returning from “Limbo”, the place where the “crushed” contestants end up.

Crush this conceived as a blockbuster. The version developed with RTVE, presented by Juanma López Iturriaga, was recorded on a circular set of 1,000 square meters, with 200 people in the audience and 5 safes with heavy metal structures that threatened to fall on participants who made a mistake when choosing the answer.

This 360º set, without elements that would limit the vision enjoyed by the public from the stands and the viewer from home, made possible the use of special robotic cameras such as the traveling cam or the skycam that travel around the set as if it were a soccer field, offering images reminiscent of video games.
