DJI y SkyPixel, the world's most popular community for aerial photos, call for the SkyPixel Aerial Photo & Video Contest. Running from December 18, 2018 to February 18, 2019, the aerial contest will showcase views of the world from above and is open to professional photographers, videographers, aerial enthusiasts and content creators from around the world.

The contest covers narrative formats, one photographic and another of video. There is no restriction on the type or brand of aerial equipment and participants can submit as many photos and videos as they wish.

Participants have the chance to win a range of prizes, including a Hasselblad X1D-50c camera, a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and the new DJI Osmo Pocket. Additionally, SkyPixel will host a series of exhibitions at different DJI stores in 2019 to showcase the winning entries. Selected works will also be presented in seminars hosted by competition winners and professional photographers in conjunction with SkyPixel.

Ferdinand Wolf, creative director in Europe at DJI points out that "DJI has redefined what drones look like and what they are capable of doing. Compact size, portability and powerful systems when it comes to the images they capture, our drones have also made capturing stunning aerial images easier than ever before. Now everyone can use their creativity and inspiration at high altitudes.

"We are seeing more and more aerial photographers and content creators sharing their unique perspectives and experiences of the world through SkyPixel. With this contest we hope to encourage more people to know and learn about aerial technology and together adopt a more creative way of sharing experiences," he adds.

The videos submitted to the contest They may not exceed five minutes and will contain at least 30 seconds of aerial sequences.
