Latest video and audio tools from Adobe Creative Cloud improve production efficiency

The automatic removal of unwanted objects with the Content-Aware Fill function in After Effects, the organization and creation of storyboards in the free-form project panel of Premiere Pro and the generation of audio mixes with the Auto-detect function for ambient sound in Audition and Premiere Pro, main innovations from Adobe in Las Vegas.

Coinciding with NAB 2019, Adobe announced in Las Vegas important performance updates and new innovations in the video and audio tools of Adobe Creative Cloud that improve efficiency in video production.

New features available starting today include the iinnovative filling technology depending on video content, possible thanks Adobe Sensei, Adobe's artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, along with new features for titles and graphics, the animation creation, he perfecting the audio mix and the organization and preparation of resources for projects.

Some of the many performance improvements include Faster skin tracking for effects and color workflows, as well as streamlining and improving Hardware acceleration for HEVC and H.264 formats in Premiere Pro. In After Effects, improvements include GPU accelerated effects, such as Color Change and Rough Edges.

The new features

• Automatically remove unwanted objects with the Fill function After Effects Content-Aware Fill – Formerly called Project Cloak, Content-Aware Fill for video, powered by Adobe Sensei, automates the process of removing visual elements like microphones, signs, logos, and even people from sequences, saving hours of tedious manual work.
• Organize and create media storyboards in Premiere Pro's Freeform Project Panel – With the new update, users will be able to organize actions visually and save layouts for shot selection, production tasks, story idea generation, and assembly edits.
• Design with precision and consistency with rules and guides. Now you can work with Adobe's popular design tools in Premiere Pro, making it easy to align titles, animate effects, and ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Polish audios easily and efficiently with the Audition record and move mode – The new feature provides efficient production workflows in both Waveform Scale and Multitrack for long-form recordings, including voiceover and audiobook creators.
• Wow viewers on Twitch Live – Streaming Triggers with extension Character Animator – Live performances will be enhanced so audiences can interact with characters in real time, making on-the-spot costume changes, improvised dance moves, gestures and poses; which offers a new way to interact and even monetize the use of Bits to trigger actions.
• Generate an audio mix with the function auto detection for ambient sound in Audition and Premiere Pro – Powered by Adobe Sensei, auto-detection now allows dynamic adjustments to ambient sounds against spoken dialogue. Keyframe adjustments can be made manually to maintain creative control over the mix.
• Add visual variety – Adobe Stock offers an extensive collection of 10 million professional-quality, curated, royalty-free HD and 4K video sequences and Motion Graphics templates from leading agencies and independent editors for use in editorial content, establishing shots or filling in gaps in a project.
• From filming to show – Premiere Rush, introduced late last year, offers an efficient workflow from mobile to desktop, thanks to its integration with Premiere Pro, empowering on-the-fly editing and video editing. The built-in camera functionality in Premiere Rush helps you record professional-quality videos on mobile devices.
