NEC will present at CineEurope 2019 the new NC2402ML that integrates a modular laser light system with a projector head

The company will present its new technologies and success stories, demonstrating how to recover the magic of the film industry.

NEC Display Solutions Europe will be present in CineEurope 2019 which will be held in Barcelona from June 17 to 20 to showcase the latest digital display technologies for cinema and present the latest success stories that are bringing the magic back to cinema.

The European film industry has experienced a sharp decline in box office receipts, with a drop of 3.3% in 2018, a decrease of more than 230 million euros compared to 2017, while facing competition from on-demand and streaming media platforms.

However, cinemas are fighting back investing in new technologies that focus on creating a surprising experience for the user, not only in the room but throughout the facilities.

NEC will present how its technology is contributing to the renaissance of cinema, with its new NC2402ML modular projector, primero que integra un sistema de luz láser modular con un cabezal proyector. In Suite C of the show, NEC experts will be on hand to explain how cinemas are being reinvented to attract a new generation of moviegoers. As well as showcasing the latest RB cinema laser projectors, NEC will show how cinemas are creating a unique, immersive venue experience with wall- and table-mounted touch screens, stunning video walls and direct-view LED digital signage.

That is why we have seen the emergence of new viewing experiences, from the immersive concept of Secret Cinema to 'gourmet viewing', or Hot Tub Cinema," he adds.
