IBC will reward young talents in the industry
This award, which recognizes the brightest and freshest talent in the industry, will be awarded to someone who has made a real impact with their passion, ambition and commitment and is making an outstanding contribution to our industry.
The call sought people under 30 years old who had demonstrably gone beyond their competencies to obtain positive results, either through their own efforts or by motivating a team. Whether creative or technical, a strategist or an engineer, the Young Pioneer will be a leader, demonstrating strong strategic vision and the personal skills to influence others.
Some of the finalists are technical innovators while others are creative artists; some have added business acumen to leading teams or starting businesses, while others inspire those around them. These are the seven finalists.
- Faith Bichler, a graduate of the HBS Broadcasting Academy and the first female ORF football director in Austria.
- Oliver Janesh Christiansen, inventor and developer of Cinefade, a camera plugin that allows cinematographers to vary the depth of field.
