The Italian Global Production uses an RTS intercom in the coverage of the UEFA U-21 Europe

Compatibility with Dante and AES 67 has been key for the selection of RTS in the new mobile unit with which the Italian production company will cover large events.

Global Production for coverage of the UEFA Under-21 Euro Cup In Italy it has used its new OB-8 mobile unit, the largest and most equipped in its fleet. In addition, it is the first Global Production unit that has intercom systems of RTS.

Luca Manfredi, manager of mobile units at Global Production, comments that "we have two other vehicles that use different systems. But when we came to make the technical decisions for the OB-8, we could see that the RTS system was superior."

As a result of this decision, the unit has a ADAM intercom matrix with 50 KP series keyboard panels optimized for use with the powerful OMNEO IP network technology: 35 KP-5032 and 15 KP-4016.

Full size ADAM array supports up to 272 ports. It can be configured to form multi-frame systems of up to 880 ports and is compatible with the widest variety of audio interface cards in the industry.

“We have chosen the ADAM matrix due to the power of the available ports and the compatibility with Dante and AES 67,” concludes Manfredi.
