The Ross executive will explain at the Malaga summit the pragmatic video signal retransmission infrastructure using 12G-SDI and IP for 4K UHD production.
The vice president of infrastructure Ross Video, Nestor Amaya, will participate in the fifth edition of the 4K-HDR Summit of Malaga, where he will explain the pragmatic infrastructure of video signal retransmission using the 12G-SDI and the IP for 4K UHD production. The 4K-HDR Summit, organized by Medina Media and that has Panorama Audiovisual as a media partner, it will take place in the National Digital Content Pole of Malaga between November 6 and 8.
12G-SDI is a solution used for video broadcast system by audiovisual companies to reduce the weight and complexity of the system, eliminating dozens of cables in 4K UHD productions. The 12G-SDI transmission system allows working with 4K up to 60fps.
In its presentation during the 4K-HDR Summit in Malaga, the myths, truths and stories that have not yet been told around 12G-SDI and IP will be addressed.
Amaya as Vice President of Infrastructure at Ross Video, responsible for product strategy, global marketing and brand development. He works with customers, partners and the Ross engineering team to ensure the routing, connectivity, signal processing and control product lines exceed the company's customer expectations.
He joined Ross Video in 2016, when it acquired Coveloz Technologies, a live media networking technology company he founded in 2009 and led as President.
For twenty years he has contributed to the development of many performance-critical networking products, having led the development of several types of chips and IP-based networking products, experience that continues to be exploited at Ross Video.
