Ross Video updates Mira, Tria and Kiva, axes of its range of video servers

Mira, Tria and Kiva, three of the pillars of the range of video servers Ross Video, have been updated with new features and models.

All products in the video server area of Ross Video They now have the function “As run logging and log report creator” (execution record and record report creator), which speeds up the delivery to customers of a CSV or PDF file from the records that have verified the issuance of content for billing confirmation. Beyond this specific improvement, the Mira, Tria and Kiva ranges receive interesting new features.

For example, the playback server Mira+ is updated to support 24 frames per second and “true 60p” frame rates. The “super slow motion” function High frame rate (previously available as an option) is now standard on all Mira+ models, as is new Mira control surface. On the other hand, the compact model Mira Express receives a storage upgrade 76 hours, double the previous capacity. Furthermore, there comes a new model con over 152 hours of total storage. Finally, Mira Express incorporates as standard a new function of clip interconnection which allows replay operators to play clips from another Mira Express over a local network.

Regarding multi-channel production server Tria+, this has been updated to support a variety of additional frame rates. On another level, the compact production server Tria Express Duet It also benefits from the clip networking feature mentioned above, offering significant efficiency benefits to workflows using multiple Tria Express Duet video servers.

Kiva improvements and price reduction

Completing the new features in terms of functions, the presentation server Kiva+ now has a new model that supports three pairs of PGM/PVW playback channels (original models support one or two pairs of channels). Another new feature of Kiva is the possibility of decoupling the “channels tab” from each pair of channels in the application Kiva Presenter, so that each pair of channels can be placed on its own computer screen. Finally, Ross has announced a “restructuring” of prices across the entire range of video server solutions, with reductions of up to 40%.
