Audio-Technica Iberia will now be in charge of the distribution of two of the business divisions of Artnovion: Pro Audio & Studio y Architectural & Engineering, with the aim of fully satisfying the needs in terms of acoustic treatment of recording and radio broadcasting studios, educational establishments, hotels and restaurants, cinemas, custom residential projects, factories and work centers.

A good example is Impulse AE, a free app, designed by Artnovion that allows you, using an iPhone, to measure the acoustic response of a room. It allows you to see the reverberation time (RT) in octave bands, to then simulate how the acoustic response of the room will be improved when Artnovion acoustic products are added. It is also possible to check the frequency response of the measurement. To carry out the measurements, it is possible to use both the internal microphone of the iPhone and an external microphone.

Impulse is available in two versions: Impulso Architect App, aimed at architects, installers…, and Impulso Acoustics App, aimed at those who work with sound recording studios, broadcast, etc. This second version offers additional tools, such as measurements of definition or clarity in speech, ETC graphs, which show in detail the propagation paths of sound energy in the room, allowing you to identify critical areas for treatment, or a frequency graph, which shows the magnitude of each frequency in the measured impulse.
