The Mediapro Studio reaches an agreement with American producer Erik Barmack

Mediapro will develop projects with Wild Sheep Content, a production company founded by Barmack, responsible for Netflix's rapid and successful push to become one of the world's largest producers of non-English language content.

The Mediapro Studio has closed an alliance with Wild Sheep Content, the production company founded by Erick Barmack, responsible for Netflix's rapid and successful push to become one of the world's largest producers of high-quality non-English language films and television content.

The Mediapro production factory thus partners with Wild Sheep to develop and distribute new content and films worldwide.

Among the projects that Wild Sheep currently has underway is the French version of the adaptation of The Plant, the novel by Stephen King, produced together with Edouard de Vessine and created by the director specialized in genre films Alexandre Aja (Crawl); a fictional version of the popular documentary Cocaine Cowboys, y Marked for Life, a Scandinavian series based on the crime best-seller by Emelie Schepp, in which Swedish prosecutor Jana Berzelius participates.

Until March 2019, Barmack was responsible for Netflix's international production strategy, where for five years he launched more than a hundred productions in more than 25 countries. Among them, such famous hits as The Witcher (Poland), Dark (Germany), Kingdom (Corea), The Money Heist, Elite y The Cable Girls (Spain), The Rain (Denmark), Sacred Games (India), The House of Flowers y Ravens Club (Mexico), and Suburra (Italy).
