'Pain and Glory' will travel to Mexico to represent Spain at the Ariel Awards
Pedro Almodóvar's film, winner of seven Goya Awards, will be the Spanish production competing this year for the awards promoted by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences.
pain and glory, of Pedro Almodovar, has been chosen by the Film Academy to represent Spain in the 62nd edition of the Ariel Awards, in the Best Ibero-American Film section.
In a brief event held at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Málaga, Azucena Rodríguez, director of the Board of Directors of the Academy and representative of this institution in the Ibero-American Federation of Film Academies (FIACINE); and the notary Silvia Tejuca García; announced that Pedro Almodóvar's film, winner of seven Goya Awards, will be the Spanish production competing this year for the awards promoted by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences.
