RedDot Design Awards

Fujifilm For yet another year, a total of 23 products have received recognition for the quality of their design and functionality. It's about the awards Red Dot Design Award, a series of product design awards organized by Design Center North Rhine-Westphalia based in Essen (Germany).

The Red Dot Design are international design awards that started in 1955 and reward the excellence in design innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecological compatibility and durability. They are recognized as one of the three most prestigious design awards in the world, along with the iF design award in Germany and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the United States. This year, there were around 6,500 candidates from around the world to be judged by internationally renowned design experts.

In developing all its products and services, Fujifilm not only pursues product functionality and performance, but also engages in design development to bring superior performance.

From the company they assure that "Fujifilm will continue to strive to create new value for its products by developing designs that not only offer beauty in exterior design, but also offer outstanding operability and portability for ease of use and comfort."

The recognition of the Red Dot Design has gone, among other products of the manufacturer, to the Fujinon broadcast zoom lenses. UA125×8BESM, UA23×7.6BERD y UA18×7.6BERD; Fujinon cinema lenses Premista 28-100mmT2.9/80-250mmT2.9; and Fujinon control units EPD-51A-D02/F02 y ERD-40A-D01.
