ARRI begins manufacturing the first Orbiter, its new LED spot luminaire

The LiOS lighting operating system is available with the Orbiter, which is already equipped with a variety of accessories and optics.

ARRI has started serial production and the first shipment to customers of Orbiter, your new LED spot source with a wide variety of optics. Since its launch in September 2019, many field tests have been carried out and valuable user feedback has been collected on this new solution. Based on these results, Orbiter has received the green light for serial production.

Orbiter is produced at ARRI's lighting solutions factory in Stephanskirchen, Bavaria, Germany. For the production of SkyPanel, a close partner network of companies in the region with the necessary experience and knowledge has already been established. This network now also serves as an essential component for Orbiter production, not only to meet production volume but also due to the group's commitment and awareness to the ARRI quality standard.

Has been developed a completely new production concept for Orbiter assembly and evaluation with an extensive and improved test configuration. A high level of process automation that guarantees stable quality standards, together with experienced employees and the necessary flexibility, allows ARRI to continue developing and manufacturing its products in Germany.
