The current AVOD service and catch-up of the French corporation TF1, MyTF1, will be replaced on October 8 with TF1+, a free OTT platform that will rely on the use of ads to obtain profitability in its proposal.

Rodolphe Belmer, CEO of the company since October 2022, has been in charge of advancing the pillars of this platform in an interview in Figaro, information that will be expanded soon by the official TF1 media.

TF1+, which replaces MyTF1, the premium subscription TF1Max and Salto, the ambitious and unsuccessful Salto (French streaming platform launched jointly by TF1, M6 and France Télévisions), will be accessible through the set top boxes of the operators Orange, SFR and Bouygues Télécom, as well as in the main Smart TV.
