REV Media Group chooses VSN for automated content distribution

REV Media Group (RMG), part of the Media Prima Berhad group and Malaysia's leading digital media, has renewed its solution for programming and delivering content to digital platforms with VSNCrea and VSNExplorer MAM systems from VSN.

Initially, REV Media Group was looking to replace its content manager, and VSNExplorer MAM was the system chosen to expand its capabilities and meet a series of specific requirements regarding metadata automation, video ingestion and archiving, and social media publishing, in addition to implementing 100% in the cloud (GCP) to enable remote access and integrate with custom local systems for the extraction of scheduling information and the creation of custom workflows.

However, the team in charge of the project also considered that certain requirements related to content planning workflows were more suitable for VSN's BMS, VSNCrea, which ended up being included thanks to its perfect integration with the MAM system. While VSNExplorer MAM takes care of the most demanding tasks related to content management, RMG users manage the majority of processes from Crea's content planning interface.

A scalable solution
