Raúl Santamaría, new CEO of Vitelsa
Vitelsa, seeking to strengthen its management and organization to guide and design its long-term strategy, has announced the appointment of Raúl Santamaría Alonso as CEO.
With this movement, the company seeks to address the new strategic challenges of the market, among which it is worth highlighting the development of Vitelsa's offer towards new technological areas, consolidating current business lines. Santamaría succeeds Jerónimo Retamal Salguero, who held the position since 2013 and who leaves the company to address new professional challenges.
Professional with more than 30 years of experience in management and direction, his professional career has been linked to the technology, retail and distribution sectors. During his professional career he has held positions of responsibility within national and multinational companies, where he has carried out new organizational designs and implemented different operational processes.
Objective: to be leaders
In his first statements as CEO, Santamaria highlights the high competitiveness of the market, although it emphasizes that there are “great opportunities due to the need for quality products and services.” "That is where Vitelsa will do the "battle", offering guarantee, qualification and adaptation at the first level. At this moment it is redefining what the business of audiovisual integration and its convergence with other technological areas should be like. We want to be leaders not in the market, but in the thinking of our clients, from the humility of a job well done and the proximity to the true needs of our clients", he specifies.
