Broadcast Solutions designs and integrates the new O2 mobile unit

O2 Czech Republic will cover an important part of the matches of its national football league with the new S12T mobile unit, delivered by Broadcast Solutions.

The new mobile unit O2 Czech Republic, the second that Broadcast Solutions created for the Czech operator, belongs to the vans family Streamline OB and works with up to 12 cameras HD. As in the case of the first mobile unit, Broadcast Solutions has once again collaborated with its Slovak partners Electronics e IVC to build and deliver the solution S12T to the client.

Broadcast Solutions has combined its concept Streamline with the specific needs of the client. In this way, the work spaces have been redefined to accommodate a total of 14 technicians, something that the integrator considers “unique” among mobile units the size of the S12T.

The integrator Broadcast Solutions has been offering the family of vans for several years Streamline, which has allowed them to convert the previously complex and long development of an OB van into something similar to “series production”. To support this approach, the company continuously keeps chassis and components for the assembly of these OB vans in stock. All models Streamline They are characterized by their short delivery times and their “important cost advantages”, as is the case with this model.

Solutions integrated into the S12T

The mobile unit O2 Czech Republic can work with up to twelve cameras, ten of which are from the manufacturer Grass Valley. Other solutions present are the Grass Valley mixer School 3 M/E, servers EVS, the table Theirs mc256 o Riedel MediorNet (with 15 units MicroN) as a routing platform.

The installation is completed with equipment talkback and Riedel intercom; the system VSM of Lawo as a general control cap; two video stage boxes, based on the Compact Pro from Riedel, and an audio stage box, based on the Compact I/O of Lawo.
