Christy’s signs deal with Avid for 500 Media Composer Enterprise positions

The Los Angeles-based post-production services company Christy’s has closed a multi-year subscription license agreement with Avid for 500 seats of Media Composer Enterprise video editing software.

With its migration from perpetual software licenses, Christy's achieves easier and more efficient delivery of the editing tool specified by the majority of its blue-chip customer base.

On a typical day, Christy's supports hundreds of editors working simultaneously in its printing facilities. 5,570 square meters and at customers' production locations, relying on Media Composer and the petabytes of secure shared storage it provides Avid Nexus in your workflows.

Subscription Media Composer software licenses allow Christy's to predict and provision resources more efficiently for its demanding user base, while addressing the sharp increase in remote collaboration between geographically separated editing teams.
