Hula Post, a majority female-owned post-production company serving production companies, studios and networks, specializes in defining and delivering next-generation workflow solutions across its three facilities and client properties. Among them is its remote editing service Hula Post Everywhere, developed to keep customers working during the pandemic. Hula has built it around a comprehensive technology portfolio that includes creative tools from Avid and a secure data center with storage Avid Nexus to support high-level projects.
Denine James-Nio, CEO of Hula Post, highlights that the Media Composer subscription “is a perfect tool”, since with it they can “manage our total editing resources, be more responsive and, at the same time, allow our clients to benefit from the latest updates and releases of Avid creative tools.” In parallel, Tom Cordiner, Chief Revenue Officer at Avid, welcomes that “Avid's close partners like Hula Post” are taking the lead in moving to subscription models.
