Movistar+ and Filmax present in the Festval the new series of Pau Freixas ‘everyone lies’
Within the framework of Festval, the Vitoria-Gasteiz television festival, Filmax has presented Everyone lies, an original series Movistar+ created and directed by Pau Freixas that will be released next December.
To the presentation this Thursday in Vitoria they have attended Pau Freixas, director and creator of the series; Fran Araújo, executive producer of the series in Movistar+; Carlos Fernández, CEO of Filmax and much of the cast, Irene Arcos, Lucas Nabor, Natalia Verbeke, Eva Santolaria, Amaia Salamanca, Jorge Bosch and Berta Castañé.
Araújo has acknowledged that "releasing a series with Pau Freixas was something very desired by us", and has defined this production as "a roller coaster in which you get on episode one and wonder where Pau will take us."
For his part, Carlos Fernández has affirmed that "this production was made in full pandemic and an excellent production has been made." In addition, he highlighted the great work of Pau Freixas: "Pau has ideas, but puts energy and puts his life so that those ideas go ahead."
Freixas has talked about Everyone lies As "a trip" that has done very comfortable. And he stressed that his idea was to "make a thriller with dramatic elements, but also comedy." In this sense, he added: "We have tried that different genres live together, so the importance of this cast, who are actors known to all, capable of going from the drama to the comedy. It is a luxury to work with them."
