EVS closes large-scale agreement with Fox Sports for the use of MediaInfra Strada

A continuación, se trasladará a Estados Unidos para la producción en directo de la Super Bowl LVII in Arizona in February 2023, and will subsequently be deployed around the world for other prestigious competitions such as the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and 17th edition of the Euro Cup in Germany. Kevin Callahan, vice president of operations and engineering Fox Sports, says of the agreement: "It was an easy decision for us, as the MediaInfra Strada solution meets all of our orchestration, signal processing and manipulation needs for such large events. EVS presented everything we were looking for."
Launched in June 2021, the solution MediaInfra Strada of EVS is designed to solve all routing challenges in any production environment. Built on an IP backbone and leveraging existing product lines Cerebrum y Neuron EVS's field-proven routing and control solution enables transition to full IP infrastructures, while continuing to offer SDI support. From the user's point of view, the difference between handling SDI sources or IP streams goes unnoticed, as all underlying complexities are completely abstracted by the solution's easy-to-use graphical interfaces.
The MediaInfra Strada installation supplied by EVS is fully adapted to the requirements of FOX Sports. To ensure efficient and reliable real-time processing and compression of all video and audio streams, FOX Sports has also chosen to deploy the modules Neuron Compress y Convert of EVS.
