Odisea premieres Silvestre's last journey: 'The motorcycle nomad: Miquel Silvestre through Spain'
On Tuesday, May 10, the television channel Odyssey, produced by AMC Networks International Southern Europe, premieres exclusively The motorcycle nomad: Miquel Silvestre through Spain.
After traveling around the world twice and publishing several books about travel, Michael Silvestre has a new challenge: discover more about the Spain emptied. Riding his Atrevida motorcycle, the companion with which he managed to go around the world, he delves into inland Spain in a different way to make its attractions known. On this new journey, Silvestre will travel 10 episodes some of the most charming towns and enclaves in Soria, Segovia, Burgos, Guadalajara and Madrid. "After many years traveling the world, the pandemic has given me the opportunity to rediscover the Iberian Peninsula. The important thing about the trip is the emotions you experience, and I want the viewer to be my traveling companion," says Silvestre.
The traveler starts his adventure at the Buitrago de Lozoya Castle to visit places such as the Sierra del Rincón, in Madrid; Ayllón, in Segovia; Vinuesa and Laguna Negra, in the province of Soria, and more places until you reach the Sierra de la Demanda. In each destination, Miquel immerses himself in its history, tastes its cuisine, meets its inhabitants and gives free rein to his true passion: living like a nomad.
After this trip, the communicator will cross the border in The motorcycle nomad: Miquel Silvestre for Portugal, which arrives in Odyssey on Tuesday, June 14. On this occasion, the communicator takes a route through Portugal whose starting point is the Salamanca town of Vitigudino. From there, follow National Highway 222, considered one of the most beautiful routes on the planet, with the aim of enjoying the extraordinary landscapes of the area, declared a World Heritage Site.
Last September, Panorama Audiovisual published a report about how Miquel Solvestre has been able to revitalize with Diary of a nomad the documentary adventure genre on La 2's schedule with a format that highlights locations, history and people. A particular tour of the world full of spontaneity that dispenses with advances in terms of production to put value in the surprise that the route itself traces.
