The Spanish company ATM Media and the Balearic operator EIVO TV have launched an alliance to implement automated Pixellot with artificial intelligence to automatically broadcast 16 sports disciplines in different sports facilities in the Balearic Islands.

ATM Media will thus produce and broadcast in an automated way 16 different sports disciplines desde todas las instalaciones deportivas con las que EIVO TV ya tenía acuerdos establecidos.

The implementation of the project has already become a reality with the installation of the first of these cameras in Artá. In the coming weeks, EIVO TV will proceed with the installation of the remaining ATM Media cameras in sports venues where it had another fixed camera system.

The ATM Media model is based on the installation of automated cameras that record what happens in different parts of the playing field or sports facility and, through artificial intelligence, they 'stitch' the images to deliver an integrated image and ambient sound.

The content is produced by adding to it the data or specificities of the match or sports discipline, the graphics and even the voice of announcers, if applicable. In addition, the possibility of an OTT platform is offered from which high-quality content is accessed.

Jordi Roquer, CEO of ATM Media, has assured that “it is fantastic news for us to land in the Balearic Islands.” "We have a capillarization plan throughout Spain and the Balearic Islands was one of the strategic points that we wanted to reach," stressed Roquer, who also highlighted that "this is just the beginning of what we can offer to this autonomous community, the added value of our services includes democratizing the audiovisual content of Spanish sport and we want Balearic sport to grow with us."

For his part, Juan Ochogavía, responsible for the EIVO TV project, wanted to highlight the importance of this union and commented that "it turns the Balearic Islands into a leading community in the digitalization of grassroots sport at a national level." To measure the potential of this project, Ochogavía has revealed that its objective, in addition to “promoting the love for grassroots sport”, envisions “covering 80% of the Balearic grassroots sport matches in three years, in all non-professional categories, both men and women”.
