Ateme virtualizes the entire MyTV OTT service headend

La OTT MyTV, subsidiary of VNPT (Vietnam's second telecommunications operator), has decided to rely on solutions from Atem to virtualize your entire header.

To achieve this objective, defined as the first step towards the complete migration of the platform OTT de MyTV to one private cloud, Atem used your software package Titan, composed of multi-screen linear encoders and linear multiplexers con coding capability.

The virtualized header provided by Ateme, based on containerized software orchestrated by kubernetes, is made up of future-proof technologies, such as CMAF standard to enable with low latency, SDI sobre IP and capabilities of dynamic ad insertion for better monetization with targeted advertising.

Nguyen Duc Long, sales director of Atem, explains how this project can serve as an example for other platforms: "Unlike broadcast services, OTTs can encounter difficulties during their growth.
