Ateme provides Movistar+ with a complete video headend for DTH/OTT distribution

Titan provides Movistar+ with notable bandwidth savings in MPEG-2 and H.264, resulting in significant use of the satellite transponder, as well as delivering the highest video quality at the lowest bit rate.

Movistar+ has implemented the solution titan of Atem, a future convergent software header, for the distribution of your live DTH/OTT services.

By choosing the powerful transcoding technology by Ateme, Movistar+ improves video quality and user experience, reinforcing its position as a leading platform in the Spanish market.

Ateme's Titan solution provides Telefónica Spain's platform with a series of benefits, including a simple migration to a virtual video header. This is because Titan is a pure software-based encoder that can run on any COTS or virtualized server by taking advantage of extensive input/output format support and allowing customers to quickly deploy high-quality live channels.

Titan also provides Movistar+ with a notable bandwidth savings in MPEG-2 and H.264, lo que da lugar a un importante uso del transpondedor de satélite, así como a la entrega de la más alta calidad de vídeo a la menor tasa de bits posible, lo que es crucial para obtener la mejor experiencia del usuario.
