Rocket Surgery (Ross Video) se alza con dos premios Telly
The production services division of Ross Video, Rocket Surgery, has won two new telly awards, awards that highlight the technological and creative work created for television productions.
This year, Rocket Surgery has received a silver telly in the category of “Immersion and Mixed Media – Use of virtual reality” for his augmented reality work in Bally’s Fight Night. This format recreated a famous street fighting video game from the 80s adding completely immersive elements. For example, the fighters integrated a series of sensors that measured the frequency and speed of the blows.
For this project, Ross Video's Rocket Surgery created the production scoring system and data server workflow using DashBoard of Ross; the power bar graph using XPression; and augmented reality graphics using the graphics rendering solution Voyager. The proposal was completed with content for LED screen located within the studio itself.
On the other hand, Rocket Surgery has taken a Telly de Bronce in the category of “Crafts and Use of Graphics” for the graphics created for Super Bowl con Van Wagner Productions. Ross Video defines this production for the NFL as “unique”, since it used the 360 Degree Infinite Stadium LED Panel, which involved the content creation for 80 million pixels. However, they were the elements of augmented reality (AR), created by the creative team at Ross Rocket Surgery using the graphics rendering solution Voyager of the company, those who obtained the recognition of the award Telly of this year. Benefiting from cameras Acid, robotic camera heads Fury and the control system Lucid Studio, Voyager was the system in charge of managing the statistics provided by Next Gen Stats to offer an expanded broadcast full of possibilities.
With these two recent awards, they are already 28 Telly Ross Video and its clients have gained since 2020.
