Mediagenix acquires BeBanjo, betting on management in the media industry
The media solutions provider Mediagenix has acquired Banjo, a technology company that streamlines the editorial and operational aspects of video distribution services with its Movida suite of products.
The acquisition creates a broad portfolio of solutions that combines the Whats'on media business management platform with BeBanjo's Movida VOD-first solution.
The combined companies and solutions will reinforce each other to deliver business management software focused on content to the entire spectrum of media operators, from broadcasters who are increasingly monetizing their content through a variety of new distribution models, to streaming-focused market segments where VOD-first solutions are critical to success.
Media operators streamlining their digital content supply chain will enjoy an even broader choice between a fully integrated enterprise solution and dedicated modules.
