Cádiz hosts the filming of 'Andrea's love' by Martín Cuenca

The White Hill y Lazona produce Andrea's love, new film by Manuel Martín Cuenca (The Daughter, The Author, Cannibal) whose filming has begun in Cádiz.

Andrea's love is a production with various peculiarities. On the one hand, after 12 months of casting in which 4,800 people have appeared, a debut cast in front of the cameras. On the other hand, the film has started shooting in chronological order without them actors know the script, hence They will discover the story as they film it.

The film will address the Andrea's story, a 15-year-old girl, wants to recover the love of her father, who disappeared from their lives when he divorced her mother: "Andrea remembers a loving father and can't understand why he doesn't want to see his children now. Tomás and Fidel, his two little brothers, are his tireless companions in this adventure that talks about love, family and disenchantment," reads the film's synopsis.

Andrea's love will have Manuel Martin Cuenca behind the cameras. After several short films and documentaries, he debuted in fiction with The weakness of the Bolshevik (for which he received two nominations for the Goya awards), which will be followed Bad seasons, Half of Oscar, Caníbal (which received eight Goya Award nominations), The author (with nine Goya Award nominations, of which it won two, and the FIPRESCI Critics' Grand Prix at the Toronto Festival) and the daughter (for which she was nominated for two Goya Awards).

The film, which is already being filmed entirely in the province of Cádiz, is a production of LA LOMA BLANCA PC, LAZONA and The love of Andrea AIE, in co-production with ALEBRIJE CINEMA AND VIDEO which has the participation of RTVE y Canal Sur Radio and Television, the financing of ICAA- Government of Spain and the support of the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions. It will be distributed in theaters by Filmax.
