Medretia is born, a collaborative project based on AI led by CLAG

He Galician Audiovisual Cluster (CLAG) is one of the driving forces of Medretria, an initiative that, thanks to AI, seeks to develop predictions from multisector data.

Medretia, based on the various data provided, is able to determine a intelligent system for the success prediction (audiovisual) and sales (textile) of the monitored products, which will allow companies to anticipate market needs based on the historical data from previous seasons.

This project developed by Galician Audiovisual Cluster in collaboration with CRTVG, Duacode, Selmark, Technological Institute of Galicia y Digital Galicia has its precedent in the results of the feasibility study led by the Cluster Audiencelab Big Data, financed by the 2018-19 call for aid to support innovative business groups, for the construction of a pilot that would allow measuring the audiovisual consumption of young people on new platforms.

The result of the feasibility study led to very useful information for the companies of the consortium that developed the project, points out the Galician Audiovisual Cluster, “allowing to increase the value of each audiovisual production generated by production companies and audiovisual content creation companies with data that until then was difficult to access.”
