‘Alcarràs’, ‘One year, one night’ and ‘Pacifiction’ lead the nominations for the XV Gaudí Awards

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, the winners of the awards will be announced. XV Gaudí Awards, whose list of nominees was recently revealed. They lead the nominations Alcarras y One year, one night, present in 14 categories. It follows very closely Pacifiction, ignored by the Film Academy, but recognized by the Catalan Film Academy with 11 nominations.

In the reading held at the La Pedrera Auditorium, the actress Maria Morera and the actor Roger Casamajor have made public the nominations in the 25 award categories, in an edition that includes the main novelties of the categories of Mejor dirección novel, Mejor interpretación revelación y Mejor guion adaptado.

Of the 68 títulos candidatos (34 largometrajes de ficción, 10 documentales, 3 películas para televisión, 11 cortometrajes y 10 filmes europeos), un total de 31 (27 de ellos son producciones catalanas) han pasado a la segunda vuelta de votaciones, que arranca hoy y se mantiene abierta hasta el 16 de enero.

Por tercera vez consecutiva en sus quince años de historia, los Gaudí vuelven a recoger unas nominaciones with a presencia mayoritaria de mujeres finalistas, reaching a 53%.
