K 2000 dubs 'Unicorn Wars' into Spanish and Basque

The Mediapro Studio subsidiary, K 2000, was in charge of dubbing 'Unicorn Wars', the feature film by Alberto Vázquez recognized with the Goya for Best Animated Film.

The producers Chelo Loureiro, Iván Miñambres and Nicolás Schmerkin collected the Goya last Saturday in Seville for this film produced by UniKo, Abano Producións and Autour de Minuit.

K 2000 collaborated from the initial production phases, in September 2020 and despite the technical difficulties of the pandemic. In December of that same year, he carried out the American dubbing about the initial animatic, made with pencil sketches. This first dubbing served to advance the production based on the voices of the actors on the video that functioned as an animated storyboard.

Later, during 2021 and 2022, the film's creators worked with the animation on this dubbing. In March 2022, K 2000 completed the final dubbing in Spanish with actor Ramón Barea as narrator while the production team finalized the details of the animation. Finally, the film was also dubbed into Basque at the K 2000 facilities.
