The RTVE institute promotes a 360º Master's Degree in Journalism with cutting-edge technology

The University of Seville and the RTVE Institute present a permanent training master's degree in 360º Journalism, an initiative that will prioritize digitalization and technology.

The new master's degree 360º journalism of the RTVE Institute and the University of Seville powered through the training hub HAZ Project It will start on October 3, last one year and will be aimed, above all, at young students with degrees in any of the branches linked to Communication. Carles Gonzalez, director of the RTVE Institute, pointed out at the presentation event that this master's degree will allow you to learn about RTVE's work systems "from the first minute" and was born with a vocation for permanence "to allow the boys and girls who leave this Faculty to have the doors ajar of a Corporation like ours, improving their professional training." In this regard, paloma jara, director of RTVE Andalucía, highlights that the classes “will be eminently practical.”

The 360º Permanent Training Master in Journalism will have a teaching team made up of RTVE professionals and professors and educators specialized in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the University of Seville: Cristina Onega, Íñigo Alfonso, Urbano García Alonso, Juan Manuel Cuellar... RTVE has also confirmed that the master's degree will provide students with access to “latest generation technology” and will prioritize the changes that the digitization has introduced into the audiovisual sector with all the advantages that they bring to daily work in television, radio and digital media. In this way, it will cover a “training gap” by providing, above all, very practical teaching that will be channeled through several workshops and “two-month performances at RTVE.”

The Master will combine the face-to-face classes with online format and will incorporate new approaches to attract audiences, familiarizing students with the new techniques applied to the production of news and the informative treatment that new forms of communication require.
