World Broadcasting Meeting Santiago 2023

The right holders who will manage the transmission rights of the Pan American and Parapan American Games that will take place in Santiago de Chile between October and November 2023 meet at the initiative of Grup Mediapro and Panam Sports.

Mediapro, host broadcaster of this sporting event, has organized the World Broadcaster Meeting Santiago 2023, together with the Santiago 2023 Corporation and the international sports institution Panam Sports.

The World Broadcaster Meeting Santiago 2023 has brought together more than 120 participants. The objective of the event has been to provide attendees with the technical and practical information necessary so that they can develop their activity during the games. The participants have visited the different venues and have learned about the logistics with which the coverage and sending of signals of this international sporting event will be carried out.

The World Broadcaster Meeting Santiago 2023 has been attended by relevant personalities from the world of sports such as Jaime Pizarro, Minister of Sports in Chile; Neven Ilic, president of Panam Sports; Gianna Cunazza, executive director of the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games and Jose Luis Rubio; Director of Audiovisual Services at Grup Mediapro.

The XIX Pan American Games Santiago 2023 Corporation, the organizing institution, awarded Mediapro the production of this macro sporting event. The group, with extensive experience in the production of large live events, will be responsible for producing and distributing the television signal for all competitions. GRUP MEDIAPRO will generate 1,900 hours of live streaming from 14 different venues and will broadcast all sports disciplines for the first time in the history of the competition.
