Film Academy - Green Seal Day

The 2nd day of the Green Seal, organized by the Film Academy, will bring key audiovisual professionals closer to advancing the sustainability of their productions.

This appointment, which will take place on Tuesday June 6 at 11:00, will begin with the round table “Cinema and sustainability: progress, challenges and objectives”, which will feature the participation of Carlos Rosado, president of Spain Film Commission; Victor Lamadrid, leader of the sustainability group of the Interterritorial Film and Audiovisual Commission (COMICA); Joseph Pastor, director of Film and Fiction at RTVE; Manuela Ocon, director of original fiction production at Movistar Plus+; and Anna Cassina, Senior Production Executive at Amazon Studios. Juan Vicente Córdoba, member of the Board of Directors of the Film Academy, will moderate.

Next, a second discussion group led by Bill Anderson, presidente de FERA (Federation of European Screen Directors); Alvaro Longoria, vice president of European Producers Club; and Sarah Calderon, CEO of The Film Agency will address the topic “Sustainable Europe: building sustainable cinema through creation, production and distribution"In this second round table, moderated starting at 1:00 p.m. by the producer and journalist Cristina Trenas, European issues will be addressed from a European perspective.

The 2nd Green Seal Day is completed with a training seminar focused on production professionals in which real examples of sustainable productions and the importance of the figure of the ecomanager, a key piece of sustainable cinema. Yolanda Costas, Javier Santamaría and Sebastián Álvaro They are the professionals who will contribute their experiences in this training meeting that will take place at 5:00 p.m.
