After the success generated at NAB, AEQ will take the panels to the European market TP9116, intercom user terminals with 16 4-way lever keys, with two functions per lever, as well as individual level regulation on the key itself. With “Talk” and “Listen” functions and individual volume control for each communication point through a 4-way lever key, this solution integrates 16 cross-stitch keys, four pages, manages up to 64 destinations or groups. Other keys to the solution are the arrangement of information on four RGB graphic screens; its format of a rack unit, or its IP connectivity with Dante or AES67.
The firm will also present the Venus 4 y Venus4+, fourth generation of the well-known Venus directed to enable point-to-point, or point-to-multipoint links. This new IP audiocodec stands out for having IP connectivity and two simultaneous bidirectional stereo transmissions with different formats and qualities. In addition, it has the SIP protocol and the EBU N/ACIP standard, as well as OPUS algorithms, configuration help tools and remote control. Goes on the market with two versions hardware: one with a front control panel and another more basic one, with network and communications status indicators. In parallel, AEQ has confirmed that the solution can be managed through the Control Phoenix App
The Spanish firm has also confirmed that it will IBC 2023 a mobile application to allow the connection between a sporadic or regular participant in a program, from their PC, tablet or mobile phone, and the Phoenix audiocodec designated in the studio, without the need to install any application or enter a username and password, simply with a direct web link, which the station sends by the most convenient means: either by email, WhatsApp, QR image, text link or several at the same time. Audio is sent bidirectionally in high-quality, low-delay stereo format with OPUS encoding.
Improvements for Xpeak and Atrium
IBC 2023 will also serve to premiere various functions widely requested by the AEQ community. In this way, the intercom system Xpeak from the firm receives the long-awaited automatic remote connection, with which each terminal will be able to automatically communicate with a service installed in the cloud that will put it in contact with other terminals on the network, thus opening new communication channels. This automatic remote connection can also be used by integrating the terminals into a VLAN, all of these processes favoring the coordination of remote productions.
On the other hand, AEQ has also confirmed that the digital audio mixer Atrium, diseñado para producción y emisión de audio en radio y televisión, podrá incluir tarjetas XC24 V3 y XC34 V3 para conexiones de fibra óptica. La nueva tarjeta XC24 V3 incorpora 64 puertos redundantes de audio IP en formatos DANTE / AES67, y a través de Dante Domain Manager, también SMPTE 2110-30.
