Remote production and XR will focus Canon's presence at IBC
Canon will showcase at IBC 2023 from professional cinema cameras to professional camcorders, a wide range of PTZ cameras, compact vlogging cameras and solutions for professional VR content creation.

Based on the success achieved last year, the Canon stand will be divided into several areas, in which the latest launches will be displayed, in addition to the brand's existing products.
In terms of multi-camera production, Canon will show how the XC protocol Canon enables continuous high-quality IP multi-camera workflows for various levels of broadcast, using the Canon imaging ecosystem. A dedicated area will be converted into a broadcast studio demonstrating how Canon products can be combined using the XC protocol and third-party accessories to produce highly cinematic-looking images in a live production environment.
Filmmaker and Canon Ambassador Sébastien Devaud will be present to talk about the complete assembly. Among the products available will be the CR-N700, EOS C300 Mark III, CN8x15, XF605, EOS C70, and the CN-E18-80 mm.
A second area will accurately reproduce a intermediate level environment to show how Canon cameras enable customers such as small studios, corporate studios and houses of worship to produce standard-quality, color-matched broadcast images, within their budgets. The study will include products such as the CR-N500, CR-N300, XF605 and EOS C70 cameras, all connected using the Canon XC protocol workflow.
The third area is aimed at content creators and beginner studios using a multi-camera setup and will showcase a range of Canon products such as the XA65, EOS R8 and PowerShot V10.
Virtual production studio
The virtual production studio will have the objectives Canon Flex Zoom, which are ideal for recording with virtual backgrounds thanks to their very bright apertures, which results in a high-quality final image and minimal distortion. This area will include a C500 Mark II camera mounted on a Dolly tripod to show how the lenses can communicate using the XR software, allowing the background to be reproduced in a way that matches the lens settings. There will be various virtual backgrounds, as well as an example of photogrammetry.
The solutions zone PTZ 4K It will include an extensive range of products that will demonstrate the powerful image quality and operability of Canon's full range of indoor and outdoor PTZ products and applications. The CR-X500, CR-X300, CR-N700, CR-N500, CR-N300 cameras and various controllers, as well as Canon Auto Loop and Auto Tracking, will be on display for visitors.
In the area of virtual reality Various VR solutions will be shown and will be specifically dedicated to the products, workflows and innovations that allow 180° and 360° recording in virtual reality. Products such as the EOS R5 C, EOS R6 Mark II cameras and the RF 5.2 mm f/2.8L Dual Fisheye lens will be presented.

As for the Canon optics They will be presented in two sections: broadcast objectives and optical technology. Among the broadcast lenses on display will be the UHD DIGISUPER 122 AF, CN20x50, CN8x15 and CJ20ex5B. Additionally, displays of optical heritage will allow visitors to learn more about the innovation and history of Canon lenses.
