Sharp NEC Festival San Sebastián projector laser projection

Laser projection technology from Sharp NEC Display Solutions (Sharp/NEC) bring to life the 400 square meter screen of the Velodrome, whose projections welcome an audience of up to 3,000 people within the framework of the San Sebastian Festival.

Specifically, NEC laser projectors NC3541L RB are in charge of illuminating the very large screen that will accompany, among other events, the film music concert by the Basque Symphony Orchestra or the retransmission of the closing gala, as well as the projection of the main film releases of the year.

The NEC NC3541L RB laser projectors are the “first” with RB laser technology for premium and large screens up to 32 metros, which offer a resolution 4K and a wide color space. Combined with consistent, high-contrast laser image quality, they provide a cinematic experience with 35,000 lumens of brightness, making them suitable for 2D and 3D image playback. Compared to models based on xenon lamps, RB laser projectors offer reliability with maintenance-free operation, low power consumption and up to 50,000 hours of life. These features, Sharp/NEC emphasizes, translate into significantly lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for cinema operators.
