Fremantle renews its management structure in Spain with Mario Briongos and Jaime Ordanza at the helm
Mario Briongos has been appointed general director of entertainment at Fremantle Spain, who will report directly to Jaime Ordanza, CEO of Fremantle in Southern Europe and now also interim CEO in Spain.
From his new position, Mario Briongos will oversee all businesses and operations in the entertainment area, while Jaime Ordanza will assume the functions of Nathalie Garcia, who “has decided to resign from his position” as CEO of Fremantle Spain to "seek new opportunities. Fernando Jerez (general director of En Cero Coma), Manuel Tera (director and executive producer of fiction) and Manuel Urbano (director of finance and operations) will also report directly to Ondarza.
Jaime Ondarza, CEO of Fremantle in Southern Europe, has farewelled García, thanking him for “everything he has done during his incredible career in Fremantle” and emphasizing that he has left “the business in fantastic health, with great productions broadcast on the main channels and platforms, as well as new and promising projects in development.” Ordanza also wanted to emphasize that the rise of Briongos to general director of entertainment "is the result of the brilliant work he has achieved over the last nine years with the company. I look forward to working more closely with him and the team."

Leaving the family we formed in Fremantle, my admired and beloved team, and this great company is not an easy decision to make. I want to thank the members of the Fremantle Executive Committee for their support all this time, Andrea Scrosati for being a great boss and a continuous inspiration and, of course, my colleagues and my team, the that I will miss very much.”
